"Brighton" and "shopping" together is a great concept. With a mix of quirky boutiques and high street stores, it's the perfect place for shopping. However, I had major success exploring Snooper's Paradise in Kensington Gardens, a street in North Laine. A previous poster described it perfectly - an amazing collection of independent antique and yesteryear stalls full of interesting and quirky treasures. Snooper's Attic is upstairs and is mostly clothing. This is classic Brighton and I hope this place stays popular and never changes. Just pop in - you never know what you might find.

There are lots of great shops in Brighton and Snoopers Attic is one of them. It's an airy space upstairs off a street in North Laine. There is an eclectic selection of clothing and other articles including scented candles. Well worth a rummage

This place has everything, a truly weird and wonderful selection of stuff.
The place is quirky and spacious and it’s actually fun to explore and browse. The staff were pleasant too. Me and my friends loved it, you could easily spend half an hour or more in here.

This place has a selection of outlets selling craftwork and other fair. We have been a number of times and particularly like the outlet selling vintage and retro clothing called "Off The Rails" great selection of clothing at really good prices.

Okay - so the lay out of the place is like a maze! You could easily get yourself lost, but having said that I think that just adds to the shop’s uniqueness –it’s full of weird and wonderful items, some antique and some just retro! The shop is so big that every time you go you find something you did not see in the shop the last time you went. I would recommend you go to this shop, because even if you are not that into antiques, you’re still likely to find something you like in here!

Snooper's Paradise - the ultimate junk/vintage warehouse. This place is quirky maze littered with one-off pieces, perfect for creatives - you will never see the same things twice. Rifling through all Snooper's has on show is a mini adventure in itself and you are bound to leave with something, be it a random trinket you didn't know until now you NEEDED! Always cheer myself up with a little visit, walking out with a 1960's edition of Vogue or an old vinyl for a fiver! Plus the old-school photo booth means you can make each visit a memory.
New to Brighton? Go check it out.

Whenever I come to Brighton, if I have time I'll explore a bit of Snooper's Paradise, especially Snooper's Attic. This is the best place to find little presents for people or those long forgotten items that you coveted as a child or just something interesting and quirky to take home. It's full of little corners of treasures with independent sellers (listed on the website). This is what sections of Portobello used to be like decades ago, before the tourists and antique dealers took over in a big way. I hope this place stays popular but never changes.
