Food provided for private function

Som is the Thai chef at The 3 Jolly Butchers. The food is always fresh, authentic, full of flavour & made with passion. Som recently supplied a mixed finger buffet for 100 people at a family wake. The food arrived on time, hot & beautifully presented. Everything was so tasty and everyone was suitably impressed. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Som.

Absolutely superb Thai restaurant/pub. What a find, totally blown away to stumble on this restaurant/bar. The food was Thai and great menu to suit all tastes including vegan options, we had Chicken Massaman Curry & Prawn Pad Thai £8.90 per main - barman was so welcoming and informative lovely relaxed pub environment - drinks were great value too large rose wine £5.90 - highly recommend

Met some very nice old friends for a quick drink. Had a few nibbles of the Thai food. It was tasty, and plentiful and satisfying. Much to recommend. Do come!

Away from the crowds

Spotted this pub when we were heading to the train station. Just a little off the beaten path so to speak, it was nice to find a pub where you could actually sit and chat.

Fantastic Roast
May 2018 • Couples
Very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere with jazzy music and fantastic huge Sunday roast served with enormous Yorkshire pudding with parsnip crisps, lots of different veg, potatoes, and well cooked meat. Would recommend.

Strong kitchen smells
Nov 2017 • Couples
Have visited this pub a couple of times over the last month. Tonight went in there and the smell from the kitchen was so strong that after one drink I had to leave, even with that brief period in there my clothes now smell like I have cooked the Sunday roast.

One to miss if they are still cooking and you want to go on elsewhere unless you were eau d' kitchen when your Chanel has run out.

Nice beer though!!

Is this the same place
Oct 2017 • Couples
Went in for a drink, sent the first back as its cloudy, the second for being flat, changed order and just had standard beer. Cannot believe that I was in the same place as all the other good reviews given, and its expensive beer

Maybe unlucky but won't be going back

Excellent roast, made even better by live jazz
Jun 2017 • Couples
Heard good things about this place. While located at the top of North Road so not the prettiest of locations this pub makes up for it inside. Nice brick walls, tastefully decorated, tables not too close together. Great people making for a nice welcome. Our Sunday roasts were tip top and the vegetarian options sound good too. Well cooked, good veg, delicious gravy, home made Yorkshire and very nice home made spiced apple sauce. Very competitively priced. The two jazz musicians were the icing on the cake, we will be back. I bet their other food is good too.
