Speedy friendly service.
Delicious hot food piled high!
We had an issue with the pork belly and it was immediately replaced.
Very well priced.
Wished we had taken a picture but we started eating too fast!

Daughters Baby Shower
Sep 2019 • Friends
Booked the side room for daughters baby shower for a Saturday afternoon for about 30 people and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating and not expensive to hire.

Room was ideal size and they provided a bar but no pressure to spend but said if we spent a certain amount they would reimburse the hire. Due to the type of party we did not spend enough but that was not an issue.

Highly recommend if want a small get together.

We went to the Mile Oak Inn for some refreshment, after having enjoyed a nice walk to the Mile Oak Farm. It had a nice beer garden, which included a play area for the kids and a sun patio for adults. I also noticed it had a separate sports bar and a restaurant area for those people feeling a bit peckish. Seems like they do a nice Sunday roast.

Locals pub

It's okay but not if you don't 'belong' or don't use expletives in every sentence. Playing a couple of games of pool once when one of four 'charming' women offered me a fight. Didn't look at her all evening so no idea what that was about. Apparently, as a local I'm supposed to like it. I don't.

Never again
Jun 2015 • Family
Ok so I recently moved to the area and as a treat my two young sons wanted to go to the pub with the big play area for a drink and some lunch. I had popped in prior to look at the menu and had heard that the food worth a try. We got there, very friendly staff, very nice sports bar area, all seed well. I enquired to wether the kitchen was open today and I was told no not today. Although this is an inconvenience, not their fault. I was then told that although the kitchen is closed they were serving pizzas today and my sons lit up as they love pizza. I browsed the menu and saw at near enough £5 each that I'd be happy for be boys to tuck in. I asked how big they were and got shown one of the pizzas. Frozen. I was now too deep and the boys wanted them so I went through with he purchase knowing my sons would be happy. 10 mins later we get handed one pizza, cooked fine, for a frozen pizza. Next the barmaid, ever so nonchalantly, lays down the second pizza saying sorry, it caught on one side and I saw a small frozen pizza, that I payed £5 for, all the crust burnt and looking like a dogs dinner. Now I understand that it is a local pub, the kitchen was closed and it was only £5 but the fact that we are new to the area, new custom and potential weekly visitors and I was not even offered a new Iceland frozen pizza as an exchange is ridiculous. For all the 7 minutes it would have taken. As I said in the title. Never again.

Drinks pricey
Good atmosphere, staff have good banter and are polite.

The drinks were a bit too pricey, almost £14 for two drinks, they were doubles but for a local you'd think they'd be cheaper to keep the custom.

Nice pub, good atmosphere
Went here for a birthday party! Nice village pub, huge cheap cocktail menu, cheap beer and friendly staff. Loads of parking. Would go again.
