I really like this place, there really isn't a duff seat in the house and it has a good atmosphere. The bar has always been good too, never had to queue very long. If you're going to see a concert in Brighton, this is the best venue. It is far far better than the ghastly Brighton Centre.

hile this concert promised to be lovely on paper but a bit of a mixed bag in practice, so having stumped up #30 for the privilege, let’s get the bad stuff out of the way first: The Venue The toilets are abysmal at this venue - whoever did the ‘makeover design’, someone in blue spectacles with no lenses I suspect.... I've appeared on the same stage as Abba! Not at the same time though! Brighton Dome is an Elegant Regency building staging music, theatre and dance shows, plus the annual Brighton Festival. It is a premier concert venue in Brighton and actually comprises three venues - the Concert Hall; the Corn Exchange and the Studio Theatre. All three venues are... More

Very helpful staff, great venue, enough toilets for ladies during the interval! Just watch the bar prices, captive audience I guess!

Saw catfish and the Bottlemen and this venue, absolutely beautiful surroundings with great sound, on the down side it is fairly small... All although sometimes this is good as it can improve the atmosphere it also means it gets really really hot, and although that should be expected at a gig people where literally dripping afterwards, also doormen where not... I purchased some tickets for a concert last weekend but was unfortunately unable to attend for personal reasons. I therefore had the tickets reprinted and issued a letter to a friend authorising her to pick up the tickets on my behalf. This is common practice nationwide in theatres if the buyer is unable to attend in person. The tickets were... More

This is a medium-sized venue so, even if you are seated at the back, you would have a good view. Accesses are easy, though the labelling of the VIP entrance was non-existent (we wanted the other one). Bar is OK by theatre standards @ £13 for 4 drinks. The multi-storey is 100yds up the hill - it is worth having... More

I went to Moderat's concerts on the 7th April and a bouncer almost ruined my night. I had a really bad experience with the bouncer in charge of the wardrobe. I forgot my tickets inside my jacket (as did a lot of people) because nobody told me it would be necessary to access the pit. I realized 30 seconds after... More

I came to Brighton for a concert and this venue was truly nice. Great view and sound, that sometimes can be too loud at the front, where I was. The building is amazing and the staff super nice. Hope being back!

So, yes, the Dome was built for horses. Amazing :) I was there for a conference and it was a really pretty setting to be in. The loos were clean and modern, the theatre itself seemed a bit dated, and taller people found the seats a bit cramped while sitting for a day of talks. I'm not sure if the... More
