The Undercliff is a lovely walk with typical Brighton beach available all along one side, the other is dotted with the occasional cafe to get yourself a drink or an ice cream. I personally use the Undercliff for cycling, it's very cycle friendly as most people on bikes will be very careful of those on foot and stay to one... More

I have completed this walk a few times now with a walking group to include the downs and with some girl friends. Walking in the Summer months the tide is out and you can see some beautiful views and even splash in he water whilst in the Winter months, it can be a little chilly the walk is invigorating. There... The undercliff walk is great if your walking, running or biking. Although initially made fro walkers it now attracts many types of activities. You can walk next to the sea from Saltdean to Brighton Marina, no traffic or noise. It doe snot matter if the tide is in or out, rough or calm the undercliff walk is always usable. Best... More

Great walk with lovely views of the Marina, beaches and out to sea & the chalk cliffs. With cafes on route to stop for a coffee. Great access for wheelchairs from the Marina & Rottingdean.

We use this walk and cycle way regularly. It's sheltered from the wind an you can walk all the way to Rottingdean or part the way to a great beach cafe in Ovingdean and then walk back or catch a bus depending on how energetic you feel. It's a great way to get some exercise and everyone you meet is... More

I personally didn't enjoy this walk. I prefer the green lush countryside to the ocean. I walked all the way from Saltdean through to the Marina and found it a bit boring for my taste

A lovely seaside walk, along the base of the cliffs, with Molly's cafe at Rottingdean, and the kiosk at Ovingdean for teas, coffees, bacon sandwiches, ice creams, and cakes etc. Popular with walkers, and cyclists.
