What a fabulous little train from Marina to the Pier! Such a delightful train ride and the whole family enjoyed it! The train goes right along the seafront!

A Brighton institution, the Volks railway also provides a very practical way of getting from the Marina to town and back. Surprisingly, there appears to be no signage at the Marina directing people to the station, and to reach it you have to go to...More

Kids loved it and to be honest so did I. It hasn't change one bit since I was a kid great value for money. Make fun of a boring walk from the Marina to the pier.

Useful ride back after the long walk. But you kinda think more could be made of this. In fact i am sure Mr Volk would havf expected it. Toilets at the Rock station are a disgrace in this day and age.

Volk's Electric Rail is worth the few bob they charge. You get a lovely view of the beach and the esplanade leading up to the marina where there's plenty of places to have some English Fish & Chips AND Mushy Peas.

And right here on our doorstep. It's a fun way to get along towards the Marina (if you really insist on visiting it) or to get to the start of the Undercliff Walk. There's something in it for adults and kids alike. Definitely recommended for...More

My 8 year old daughter and I took a fun trip along the seafront in Brighton. Our driver was great fun and joined in as we waved to the people walking along the beach path.
