Information

It was what I expected. I got what I required with reasonable efficiency but no real extra bezaz so to speak. Thats why I gave it three stars.

Parking is a nightmare made... More

The actual visitor centre was closed due to cuts so there is very little for the council offices to offer. There are several other points for use and one at Brighton Toy and Model Museum under the station.

I hope that this is the information centre in the Brighton Pavillion and that there isnt another in Brighton. We had travelled 260 miles from our home to look at accommodation suitable for our party visiting in the summer for our daughters graduation. We thought that we could speak to a local and visit the hotels before deciding rather than... More

We'd come down for a conference and wanted to find stuff to do on our spare day. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

It is average. The staff (apart from writing their own reviews?) do their job. That's about it really. No better than anywhere else and certainly not an "attractions" worth going out of your way to visit. My advice is go and explore other parts of Sussex - Bodium, Ashdown, Arundel, Hastings... ...

The ladies of the Visitor Information Centre were all extremely helpful, patient and completely unflustered in the face of large numbers of marathon runners with travel queries. They made many enquiries on our behalf and sorted out the problem efficiently.

The free map we had was not as detailed as it might have been so the lady here marked the places we were looking for, and it all became clear.
