An historic church well worth a visit.

Do not be put off by the scaffolding or the tower covered in plastic sheeting. Once all the work had been completed it should be restored to its former glory. The services are... read more

This is one of my favourite churches in Brighton, It sits in a fork of two very busy roads, London Road and Lewes Road, and yet as soon as you enter, you are surrounded by peace - quite remarkable really... it also has an Orthodox icon in the right-hand side chapel, with candles to lit for all your Orthodox prayer... Locked up and covered in scaffolding when a service was due. Lots of people waiting. No information to say why.

Do not be put off by the scaffolding or the tower covered in plastic sheeting. Once all the work had been completed it should be restored to its former glory. The services are very well attended although the band at the 9.30am service may not be to everyone's liking. A very friendly welcome and worth a visit whatever day of... More

This amazing Church has been under construction for a long time but will be worth it when it is all finished. A very large Church and a wonderful place to get married!

Beautiful church was at risk of closure, currently looks boarded up for repairs but very much open and active! And in May hosts the amazing Warren, a pop up venue for Brighton Fringe, with glorious theatre spaces, food and family friendly events, great music.

St Peter's is one of the many Victorian period churches in Brighton and Hove, but one of the most spectacular ones - starting from a dramatic location at the start of the Level, and continuing inside with stylish interior, wonderful acoustic and that peaceful feel inside. It is one of my top favourite churches in Brighton, just for the feel... More

Almost cathedral-like St Peters is a marvelous structure currently undergoing restoration. A huge interior gothic building with Garden area in front and behind. On the main bus routes going in and out of town the A23 or Lewes. No parking facilities

Free coffee and croissants generously offered free! Check times of the service. VERY social. Good to go if you are solo. Easy to meet up with like minded worshippers. Very friendly. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended if religion is right for you. All welcome.

The church in Oct 2015 was under restoration with the tower covered in scaffolding. The church seemed to be an active centre for the community with many men (possibly homeless/migrants) using its facilities. I was warmly welcomed and invited to join a Mens Group. The altar area was screened off and the stained glass not easily visible. Perhaps one to... More
