A great local attraction, and long may it stay. Always a range of interesting exhibits - many of local interest. A fantastic tea shop to compliment any visit.

Firstly, it is lovely that Hove still has it's own museum, as a lot of (most of!) the interesting historical sites in the area are not in Brighton. A friend who grew up in the area insisted I went to see what it had to offer, and I am pleased I did. The place is small, thoughtfully put together, fully... More

I like to take my younger siblings here from time to time. We always love going in the Wizards attic and looking at all the old toys, learning a little about the history of Hove and then popping downstairs for a spot of tea and cakes!

Interesting place both inside and out. What's not to love. Excellent little cafe. Feels a bit like a library inside as everyone is so silent!

Big thank you to Kirstie, Bridget and Georgie for making our son's first birthday tea party fantastic and lovely memorable experience. The food and service was first class and attention to detail was superb. Everyone was very helpful and would recommend anyone to have celebration there. Thanks again to the manager and staff. Five stars!!!

This little museum feels a bit run down compared to its better funded cousin in Brighton and could do with some investment and brightening up. That said, it has some interesting collections - the film gallery and the toys were particularly enjoyable and the temporary exhibition on the theme of 'blue' was also good fun. I wouldn't travel a million... More

We came here for coffee and the staff were very friendly. Afterwards we looked around the museum which was based on the theme of blue. We enjoyed looking round it especially at the old toy collection which took us back to our childhood, and also the films of old Brighton.

We visited this museum over the bank holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact because we ran out of time to see it all on the first day we went back again the next day to see the rest. There is a charming tea room, which although a little pricey, have delicious cakes and a very good brew served in... More

Activities for little ones on certain days but lots for them to do throughout . Good collections. Shame the little train didn't work . Great cafe, good coffee. Buggy friendly. Helpful staff.
