We were very surprised at how scruffy it was between town and the marina - and although parts of the marina are quite nice, lots of it are lowest common denominator. Don't bother - it's much nicer in town - far fewer chains.

It really depends what you want, if you want outlet shopping do not bother but if you want a choice of cheap eats this is for you. The boardwalk has had a face lift and there are plenty of inexpensive places to eat. Its lovely on a sunny day to sit and eat and look over the harbour. There has... More

Lovely place to be if you're into yachting, some very nice boats which probably pay a small fortune to moor up there. Some nice bars and restaurants overlooking the marina, so you can sit back and take it all in. Love the smell of a marina.... salt air, motor engine diesel.... lots of people saying YAR and shouting over to... More

Newly opened Brazilian Rodizio & Bar. Part of a growing chain and part of the new extension at Brighton Marina. Four of us decided on a lunchtime visit. Overall the lunchtime buffet eat as much as you wish which includes two meat dishes is very good and value for money at £7.95 Monday to Saturday. If you decide to include... More

The marina is gorgeous - lovely restaurants overlooking a gorgeous marina - however, as you walk towards it along the seafront (or from the mini train station as we did) it looks like a part derelict building and carpark/supermarket. Its not until you go through and out on to the marina that you get to appreciate it. The "shops" it... More

First visit for my wife & me. Thought we'd pop in for lunch. It was fairly quiet considering it was a Saturday. We had a main meal each and 2 soft drinks with free refills and cost £28. It suited us, we were done & dusted within an hour & service was good. Would visit again but nothing too special.

Take the railway from the pier to the marina to discover a wealth of places to eat and a marina worth seeing. A lot of building going on though so hopefully finished soon

First impressions of Brighton Marina are not helped if you come via the Volks Electric Railway from the Pier. One has to navigate what appears to be a bomb site before entering what is a very pedestrian unfriendly complex. After dodging through various car parks one finally arrives at what is a cinema/bowling alley/casino plus lots of rather grim chain... More
