The marina is just another shopping/eating area. Plenty of rubbish strewn about, smaller shops and cafes were nice, large Asda and car park in the marina. Other entertainment venues,

I ordered a sirloin steak rare with chips and scampi; my wife a rump medium, also with chips and scampi. Both came with a drink. I had the Shipyard light ale, and she the Thatchers Gold. The drinks were great. The scampi was excellent, although...More

We decided to park in the Marina and walk into Brighton so came here for a coffee first. Quick friendly service and usual great prices. However the pub is in a desperate need of a refurbishment , seat covers were threadbare.

Thanks for your review Peter. This profile represents the Marina as a location (rather than any particular business/venue on site). Very pleased to hear you enjoyed your coffee and hope to welcome you back soon.

Brighton marina "works" (4 Replies)
We have been advised by the Hotel Seattle that there are some works being undertaken at the marina - can anyone tell me how much this is likely to affect our stay. We won't be in our room that much, but have booked one with large private terrace that we would like to have used if weather turns out fine.

I haven't seen or heard any sign of works at Brighton Marina. Work to demolish the West Pier has recently started but that is over a mile away and isn't affecting access to the seafront.
Brighton two older women where to go? (3 Replies)
Hello I read other message about this, but just checking if things are still the same. I am in my early forties and a girlfriend same age is coming down to visit from London. We like a drink and buzzy clubby busy places but obviously concerned as where to go without looking like two cougars in search for toyboys! Any place to reccommend with a mixed young/older crowd ? Been to Vanilla (bit too on the boring/small side), H-bar seems very nice, has anyone been? We like loud music and clubby...More

early 40's Older? ' aving a larf, thats still very very young...;-)) i would agree with your sentiment!(kiddies) If the Marina is too far (really??!) then i'm stumped. At the marina tho Karma & Club/Bar Seven are places that you wont feel old or feel out place (and you wont be the oldest there!). Otherwise town centre i think you'd be ok at places like Funky Buddha.

Brighton Marina parking (5 Replies)
I know that the multi story charges per hour , but cannot find out how much? Does anyone know please? Planning to spend about 5 hours in Brighton, so will travel on the Volks railway, having parked the car.

I believe it is free providing you are using the Marina facilities (and you can’t park there if not) and has a four hour time limit.
