Took the Miss's along as we havent been to this Theatre before, slightly older one but still nice. Blood Brothers was amazing really great show with great actors. Ordered drinks for half time and they were waiting for us which was great £7.50 for glass of OK vino is a tad on the high side. Can highly suggest going to... More

What a joy it always is to set foot inside this lovely old traditional theatre. It was great to sit in the stalls and to see Joan Collins so clearly. Warts and all. (Only kidding about the warts of course!). We have been here many a time to see a great show. What a great atmosphere and the place is... More

I have been here many times, but not for a few years and i visited this weekend with my son, which reminded me what a lovely place, so full of history. If you live in Brighton and visit the city, you should visit, it has so much history and is a proper traditional theatre.

Went to see The Boys in The Band with family. Nice and comfortable with most seats being 'good' seats. We were at the front of the royal circle. Bar is expensive - as they always are. Good selection of drinks and great service with a smile.

Great staff and comfy seats but legroom is not great. The toilets are nice but could do with more. Sound quality is good. Its very high up if you take the cheap seats.

A wonderful old style theatre maintained in keeping of its 250 year history. Magnificent decorative work/

Show was fantastic. Crowd was the worst ever, too much talking laughing which spoilt the show. Mobiles lighting up every where texting. Gave the attendant notice but nothing done. Sent a complaint to the theatre but no reply. Really disappointed.

My friends and I visited the Theatre Royal to see Breakfast at Tiffanys. I am very sorry Georgia May Foote but your performance was below par. The script was awful with people dashing about the stage frantically, utter chaos, and we certainly had no idea of what was going on. A very strange ending and we were all wondering 'is... More

Fantastic evening watching The Magic of Motown on Saturday night but couldn't believe that a small bottle of lager and a small house wine cost over £11. I have worked in catering and bar work at top events around Sussex and I thought our prices were high but their prices take the biscuit.
