My first time in Brighton and I wasn't disappointed, maybe just a bit surprised. I grew up at the ocean in my country, but the force of the wind at the seaside in Brighton was powerful. You might wanna think about what clothes you wear and how you have your hair if it's long. Even my shirt kept blowing up... More

Not impressed with the beach, not recommended for sunbathers, due to there being no sand, only pebbles. Building work going on on the promenade at the moment.

Very stoney and murkey water. Plenty of eating places and pleasant and picturesque to stroll along. Ample parking and a sand pit for the kids.

I really think there is something for everyone down on the seafront. My personal preference is to avoid the main strip next to the palace pier and head more towards the marina- it is quieter and perfect for a bbq. But not many bars/ food places on this section so you need to have things with you. This section is... More

After a walk up to the i360 and back again a refreshment was in order. We were lucky enough to get a table in the sunshine at the Tempest and enjoyed a nice pint of Brighton IPA whilst soaking up the rays. There are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from as well as a few nautical themed shops.

From where I come from in Australia we have very few pebble beaches mostly sandy, so it is always fascinating to experience what other people have to enjoy, it was nice to walk on a small section of Brighton Beach though.

It's beautiful and colorful but if you want a silent place to relax or have conversation with someone, this is not your place. There are so many people and so many games for children which are so loud, you can't stand it for a long time. Junk food, no vegan option. However the view and the sea is amazing. Windy... More
