Brighton Food Tours run a range of exciting food and drink tours that will give you a real "taste" of Brighton. Bookable via our website, all ours tours are "smorgasbord" events; giving you a little bit of everything; food, drink, local history, lovely guides and a great day out. On our VIB (Very Independent Brighton) tour you will get everything from street food, traditional British dishes and a touch of the gourmet. The tour runs Fridays & Saturdays - 11am – 2pm approx - starting in central Brighton & finishing near the seafront. We also run a Wine Rebellion Tour, Beer & Food Matching Tour & Kemptown Food Tour (check website for details & dates). We can arrange private tours for a minimum of 8 people and tailor it to your requirements. VIB Price: £60pp & Private Tours start at £70pp– Prices inc. all food & drink tastings + exclusive discounts. Advance booking essential. Check our website to book and for full details.

I booked this tour as a birthday present for my partner after hearing how good it was from a friend. We were not disappointed - it was fantastic. Simone took us round to a range of really interesting local food producers that we would never have come across on our own. We heard some background about the areas and places we were visiting and were warmly welcomed everywhere and the food we tried was very tasty! We would highly recommend this tour to others as a great way to see a really authentic side of Brighton and try artisan local food.

We did a private food tour for 8 to explore the food scene in parts of Brighton we were unfamiliar with. Angela did an amazing job at communicating with us and setting up the perfect tour for mine and my partners family. Ashley was our guide on the day and was brilliant in leading our group at a good pace. He intermingled historical facts of Brighton with humour and made for a really interesting tour. We went to 7 venues in total but he pointed out a whole host of other places to add to our list. We would recommend this to locals or those popping down for the day. It’s a great way to get familiar with Brignton and the amazing food scene. You won’t be left hungry!

Going along with Brighton Food Tours is definitely the 1 thing you must do when in Brighton. Exploring the city through its amazing foody places, with experienced guides leading your through the lanes and secret spots. Any food allergies or preferences? Special requests? All Sorted! Me and my 80 colleagues had a blast!

OMG….. what an AMAZING food tour. We have been to Brighton a number of times and I always look for great quality, locally sourced eateries and my eyes were opened today!! Heaps of thanks to Clare who guided us amazingly through lanes and back streets of Brighton that we didn’t know existed.

The guide was punctual, friendly and humorous. The information was interesting. A good variety of food tasted, although we would have liked to have tasted a chocolate in the chocolate shop. Would highly recommend the tour it was fun and tasty

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour - even though we live in Brighton, we discovered lots of new places, and learned the stories behind places we already love, thanks to our guide Ashley and the friendly vendors. Everyone in the group was lovely, and will definitely be returning to the venues on the tour and others pointed out along the way. And there was so much food that everyone was stuffed by the end!

We spent a great few hours with Jess sampling some of the DELICIOUS food that independent Brighton has to offer.
Time in the venues was just right, and we were well notified of toilet availability. There was a great range to pick from and our food requirements (pescatarian and non drinker) were easily and readily catered for.
Highlights for us were Smorls (the thunder hummus is a must buy!), the burger kitchen and the curry leaf! Rainbow organic chocolate is also absolutely amazing.
We met up with a local friend on the tour who had never been to any of the places, so this is one for locals looking to discover more about their glorious home town, as well as tourists looking to see a slightly different side of Brighton. Heartily recommend!

As there were six of us we had our own private tour and visited eight different places. Hummus, falafel & pitta was first, absolutely fascinating talk and delicious. Chocolate shop was a bit something & nothing as whilst we did have a drink, no chocolate! Next on to the best burgers in Brighton, they were awesome! Then on to the Curry Leaf, great food & craft beer! Next the cheese shop, gorgeous local cheeses & cider. Patisseries next again delicious. Quite full now but on to the Wine shop, fascinating & great quality wine & gin. Finally we just about managed the ice cream! Claire our guide was fab, very friendly & knowledgeable. It took us to places we wouldn’t have found on our own!

We had the most wonderful day with Brighton Food Tours; Ashley, our guide, was brilliant - so knowledgable and interesting. We live in Brighton and were taken to so many wonderful independent places that we didn't even know existed until now. Only issue... we could barely walk by the end we were so full! Excellent tour!

Fabulous tour - to be highly recommended! It is a great intro to Brighton food gems, made even better by our great food guide Alex. We 'rolled' home, absolutely stuffed, having had the best time with great company too.
