Went to Norwich for the day. Train that left Liverpool Street was old and despite paying for a first class seat, there was no wifi. Train arrived over 20 minutes late, which meant those going to Greater Yarmouth missed their connection and had to wait almost an hour for the next train. Afternoon train was more modern and had wifi... More

Got a ranger ticket and visited Sandringham and Cromer by rail from Norwich. A fabulous ride on clean comfortable trains with an hourly service. Let the train do the work no driving or having to find car parks. Spot on.

Staff with poor communicational skills and little grasp of the English language and was difficult to understand, hardly a recommendation to use any Abellio services, plus of course even with the ticket barriers now in operation at Norwich we noted a vast surplus of staff appearing to be doing very little and not offering to assist passengers, we would add... Going to Norwich from Sheringham was a really good journey. We travelled on the 0945 Greater anglia to Norwich via Cromer. The trip was very sightseeing and had a very pretty view from the carriage. On the way back we went in the rare Class 170 train on the way to Sheringham. It was quieter than the one coming. Again,... More

A day out by train was a treat for the children -they were so excited. I had a free day with no driving and was very relaxing not having to hunt around for parking and paying through the nose for it! My first train ride for a longer time but shall now being doing it again in the summer.

We used the service to travel from Wroxham to Cromer, and return. We were pleased to find that the parking is free at Wroxham. The conductors on both journeys were very friendly and polite (not always found on the national network!), and the Day Return fare, at £4.40 is very reasonable. The stations appear well-kept and clean. All in all... More
