I visited swanage on a day trip from bournemouth and the beach was as busy. This location is ideal for young familys, its a quieter resort, with a small fun fair for little ones. And ideal for boat rides to poole

My husband and I have always loved the old fashioned charm of Swanage and I guess always will. There is plenty to amuse and enjoy for all ages and what a relief to be without hundreds of amusement arcades and big funfairs. Children can experience...More

The Swanage Bay gives a picturesque vista come rain or shine. We have walked with our two dogs and at the end of the Bay were able to have some fun throwing tennis 🎾 balls 🎾 into the sea much to my amusement.🤣

After a trip on the Swanage railway, we walked from the station to the beach (just five mins) and what a lovely beach too. Clean soft sand and everybody was having fun. Nice pavement to walk along. Like an old town beach should be.

Provided you have somewhere to park it, your car will love Swanage as, if that's where you are staying, it will get most of the week off. At least that's what we found, as Swanage had everything we needed: sun, sea, sand, coastal and countryside...More
