I took my 2 young grand daughters here to see the new born lambs and it was a good experience apart from the spring weather- showered, sun and hail which had made the ground very muddy and the temperature chilly. There were sheds full of sheep with mainly 2 lambs each in various stages of bonding and tagging before release... More

I took my 2 year old who enjoyed looking at the animals and feeding the sheep, she also liked the small park area. The ponies, alpaca, sheep and goats all come right up to the fences so it's more interactive for little ones though there is not the other activities you would find at bigger (and pricier) children's farms such... We spent about three hours there and we all enjoyed it. The grounds with the lake and gardens are beautiful and scenic. It does take time to cover the extensive grounds and to appreciate its beauty. We took a pack lunch and had a picnic. Our four year old liked feeding the animals and combing the pony's coat. She was... More

Overall an OK day out if you're looking for something to take up a couple of spare hours. The animals were nice to see and kept my 3 year old happy and the staff are friendly. The grounds are lovely to walk around and the lake behind the house is stunning.

We visited with a 16 month old baby. It was half term so many other families were there with children of all ages. Our little one loved looking at the animals and tractors. It was a cold drizzly day but everyone seemed to be having a great time. We also had a walk in the gardens followed by a nice... More

Great to look around the grounds and animal park even though it was freezing and wet, the café and farm shop have a great choice and the local produce was a nice surprise. Bought an annual ticket as I am sure I will be making Kingston Mauward a regular place to visit even if it's just for coffee, cake and... More

Took a walk around the gardens and lake of this beautiful old house. It was a very frosty morning so we were able to get some excellent photos. A little piece of peace and tranquility during the festive rush

Day out visit with my wife and grand daughter. Chilly damp day, very quiet with the place to ourselves, almost. Lovely peaceful animal park set in wonderful historic grounds in Dorchester. The annual family pass is a must have if your local with events throughout the year. Also great for a morning or afternoon visit if your just passing by.... More

A variety of animals to see up close, play area for children and scenic walks for all. Ensure to make good use of the map provided to explore the extensive gardens.
