The 3/5 rating is not because its a naff place, but because its quite pricey for what you get. Outside the building it seems fairly big, but inside you will find it is just the upstairs. On the subject of the stairs, they are quite steep as this is an old building. There are about 6-8 different scenes and many... More

This is a small museum at the end of Dorchester, it is shared with a museum about the Chinese Terracotta Army. You can get a joint ticket but we only wanted to see the Teddies. It is upstairs only not sure if there was a lift for those who may have difficulties. It is divided into many rooms. There are teddies of... More

Bought a 5 for 2 visit ticket. I was looking forward to the teddy bear museum the most. It was just lovely to look at the only teddies. Sooty and sweep musical and reading the teddy bear story on the way round. Although the exhibition wasn't large it was interesting. I loved it 👍

Great for small children who looked up in awe when they first saw the life size teddy bears. Nice and compact. Good for killing an hour or two with small children.

We had purchased a Golden Ticket online for the 5 museums (5 uiseums for the price of 2)...and to be honest we only went to this one because I like teddy bears. However once we were in there even my husband and 12 year old Grandson enjoyed it. Not the biggest museum to visit but certainly packed full of bears,... More

To be fair I'd say this museum is worth more than a 3/5 but probably not quite a 4. As stated by other reviewers if you were to look at this as one museum in itself then it probably isn't worth the trip or the ticket price unless you're crazy about teddies. But as part of a wider trip to... More

Went with our 5yo son as part of the 5 museums ticket. Not huge but pleasant enough and there's stuff for little ones to play with.

I don't know why, but I found most of the exhibits in this museum a bit creepy. It's all in two rooms upstairs from the terracotta any museum & well overpriced if you just visit one or both. Get the golden ticket to see both of these plus the Tutankhamun exhibit, the mummies exhibit and the dinosaur museum; together they... More

This is actually a teddy bear museum and as such it has various teddy bears both famous, antique and valuable. Most of these are behind glass cabinet as they are too fragile to touch. It's a quaint museum and the museum is arranged into little rooms of different eras. It's not as interactive as I thought it might be but... More
