Visited with friends for the first time since it has been renovated. We loved the back room area with its amazing book arch. Great selection of ales and a lovely white wine on draught.

Visited for the first time in quite a while. Ale selection isn’t as good as when I’ve previously visited but still very good and kept in a great condition. Seating area has been transformed to give more seats. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic little ale house with an eye-popping collection of beers to choose from. Friendly staff and atmosphere, with a cosy feel. A little on the small side with limited seating, but this adds to the ambience. Big fan!

One of the many growing band of micro-pubs-this one of a very high standard where conversation rules and mobile phones are defunct! A great range of beers served by a very knowledgeable young lady. Bus stop right outside to take the strain.
