The Square can be seen as a particular landmark in Bournemouth where there are tons of busy shoppers flocking in an area of space where there are no shops - but they they are heading for the shops! We wonder - recession? What recession! Not with all these busy shoppers. It is a vibrant and exciting place to be and... More

Having came to Bournemouth for the first time last year found this cafe Bar on the square enjoyed so decided to try it again. Was not disappointed the coffees were delightful. The Square is a busy place both by day and by evening, being right in the heart of Bournemouth City. It is so beautiful on a sunny day, with loads of places to have a drink, eat or just an ice-cream wathing the world go by.It is an extension of the beautiful park.

I have been coming to Bournemouth for 40 years and spent 5 days here recently including several hours in the town centre in and around 'The Square'. I was shocked by the number of beggars, gangs of beggars, people drinking and drug addicts that are wandering around here. It should be the lovely centre of a lovely seaside town. I... More

The gardens/ park was delightful with the stream going down the middle, it was a shame that the hot air... More

The square, apart from being the centre of the town, is also the focus of many events - it has a lovely outdoor restaurant and is central to the Bournemouth gardens. A lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.

If there is something on in town there is often attractions situated here. There is a permanent cafe where you can sit and enjoy the world go by.
