I drove down to Bournemouth for the weekend and just happened to walk past Imeldas. If you love shoes, you will love this shop. So many colours and styles.... very good quality leather shoes. Lady in the shop very knowledgeable about her products..... and went up and down the stairs to get different shoes for me to try. In the end I bought a pair of boots and a pair of shoes. Very happy with my purchases. I will always check in whenever I visit Bournemouth again!!

My latest visit to this beautiful shop, to replace my favorite ankle boots - result: had to buy an irresistible pair of tall boots as well... I am fussy about my footwear, as if my feet are not comfortable I am miserable. As ever, both pairs are great, look good and really comfortable to wear. Thank you, it is always worth the trip.

I returned a pair of shoes for the 4th I repeat the 4th time because they don’t refund so you have to buy something else. The problem is they have a limited range and in only a few sizes which restricts your choice even further. The first pair I returned when I got them home I found them pinching on the side when I walked around the house so I took them back. I then purchased another pair again I’ve got them home and didn’t like the feel of them once walking around the house with them so I took those back. Then I purchased a pair of boots which were over £100. I got them home and found the zip had broken I.e. split from the middle so I took them back and the man in the shop said this is most unusual. He managed to zip them back up and said ‘ you shouldn’t be using that zip you should only use the inside zip’ the fact Is both zips were functional so it’s natural to indo both. He insisted that there is nothing wrong with them and therefore I had no choice but to keep them but fortunately whilst I was in the shop the zip actually did come apart again so he had no choice but to give me another pair assuring me they were the same size so I took them and have since worn them and found them to be a size smaller so now rendered useless. I live 170 miles away and only visit the area occasionally so I cannot return them and since I’ve worn them no doubt they will not help me whatsoever based on the experiences I’ve had so far. So I warn anybody who purchases anything, make sure you wear them around the shop even though it is a very very small shop, therefore quite difficult to really experience the feel of them whilst you’re in the shop, you will not get a refund if they are no good and your choice is limited.

What a glorious find this little shop was .I was looking for hat for my son’s wedding and was I greeted by a wonderful lady who was extremely knowledgable about millinery couture and soon had me experimenting with different styles and guided me to finding the perfect finishing touch to my outfit .How wonderful to walk into a little place ,that has such a selection and even complemented my dress with fabulous shoes too ..... will definitely recommend to all my friends .Thank you from a very happy customer .
