    Great Pier
Great pier with some shops at the start, an arcade and some places to get snacks or drinks. You have to pay £1.50 to walk down this pier and it I'd card only. Had a stroll down, lovely and clean and somewhere to get a drink and food along with a few children's rides.

Good for the views but price a bit too much for a large family
Clean and beautiful views, loved the pier. Thought £1..50 was a bit steep - there was a group of 7 of us. It would be useful to tell us what this was being spent on. Loved the zip line and views from the restaurant at the end and beaches but not much to do otherwise. Card only as well.

    Just another pier
Nothing different or unusual about the pier in Bournemouth. There's a very good size arcade which the kids loved. Café and other eateries at the front along with bar. Small collection of fayre rides too and the one thing that is a little different is a large zip line from the pier to the beach. Unfortunately it was very windy when we visited the pier so that was a no to the zip line.

Expensive if more than one child , but glad we went .
The heater skelter at the end of the pier was the highlight of the whole weekend for my 6 year old grand daughter . There are other rides there too and for £3 a token I think is quite expensive, especially if there with a couple of children who want to go on all the rides . The staff are friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for a ride to be operated . The little one enjoyed herself

Been on the pier many times at any time of the year. Gets very busy in the height of the summer, lots of visitors it's only £1.40,but that lasts the whole season from Easter to the late autumn. As we live in Bournemouth it's a regular spot we go too, good restaurant at the end of the pier as well, very varied menu to suit most tastes.

I am a local to Bournemouth and I love the place I live, but I came here with my two children to have a walk and go on the rides, but to be charged and for a 5 year old to get charged is disgusting. I am willing to pay if there are things to do on there, but there is nothing. All the things on there a climbing reef , a cAfe a zip wire and some rides are all very expensive. Brighton pier doesn’t charge and you could spend hours on there. Rides at Bournemouth pier are £3 a token for 1 ride , with two kids that it crazy prices. Seriously lacking things to do on this pier, yes I know it’s nort as big as Brighton but come on , it should be free, some people only want to have a walk or sit down !!!!

I was not impressed to be charged £1.30 to enter the pier. It doesn’t make sense when everything (apart from enjoying the view) costs so much once you’re on the pier. They even charge an additional £3.80 to use a deck chair! Having visited Brighton a couple of weeks ago & getting free entry to the pier with free use of deckchairs I feel ripped off by Bournemouth pier.
The view is lovely but the pier is crowded with expensive, horrible, games/rides etc so not worth paying for.
There isn’t even a nice place to sit anywhere near the sea end of the pier as all the seating is reserved for customers of the expensive eateries.
I have also been here in the winter (pre Covid times) when it is free but wasn’t particularly impressed by Key West who often closed before their advertised closing time & were rude & unfriendly about it.

I would understand & be happy to pay the entrance charge to help towards the maintenance of the pier if it wasn’t cluttered with overpriced, horrible, things/places whose rent should be paying for that.

Lovely long pier, clean and tidy with plenty of amusements for kids. Dads can go fishing from pier plus there is plenty of seats. There is a small charge during day time but free after 6pm

Another one of Bournemouth's major landmarks. You have to pay to get during the day, but in the evening it's free. To be honest, unless you want to use the over-priced entertainment on the pier, just go in the evening. The views ae still good in the late summer and the stroll is just the same.

Entrance fee of £1.30 not too extortionate and the wife and I enjoyed a lovely stroll along the pier on what was a sunny day.. Many people seemed to be having fun paying to use the zip wire from the top of the pier down to the beach. Nice to say we have visited this attraction..

Being a resident of BCP area I have enjoyed many recent walks along Bournemouth Pier.
I however only tend to use it when it’s free (winter month’s) It’s a shame you have to pay to go on it.
There is a cafe/restaurant at the end of the pier along with a zip wire and in the summer a few rides for very small children.
The best thing about Bournemouth Pier are the views & watching the surfers.

Lovely pier to walk along and take in the views.
April-October incurs a change of £1.20 a adult , 80p for a child 5+ however ticket is valid all season. If you prebook a experience at rock reef then you do not need to pay for pier entry.
Cafe/ bar at end of pier which overlooks the sea.

Charges £4;30 for family but no entertainment zone inside. Bournemouth pier please see clacton pier and learn something. Lots of activity without any entry fees. Kids can have all day fun at clacton pier if it’s rainy day. Don’t waste your money going in to pier as food is expensive then by beach restaurants. Zipwire is expensive than spending a day at London’s top most thrill amusement park (Thorpe park) not worth it pier. I would rate worst pier I have ever visited in Uk.

Paid to walk on the pier at 12pm on a Thursday afternoon but everything was closed. Pointless No attractions, no shops, no restaurants, no nothing, just walking up and down the pier for £1.30 per person. Bournemouth pier should be like every other pier and be free or if you’re going to charge at least be open for some sort of attraction worth value for money. If everything is closed, please don’t charge to simple walk up and down, which can be easily done on the beach for free. The man selling the ticket should have advised of this. The upkeep and maintenance of the pier should be the responsibility of the private owner who owns the pier (if this is the case) from income and revenue generated from businesses operating from the pier or the council (if this is the case) but the cost should not be passed onto visitors...appalling practice...Stay clear of Bournemouth pier !!!
