We live relatively nearby Littledown and my kids love a ride on the miniature railway. There is never a queue and for £1 per person, its a bargain. The people who run the railway seem friendly and happy to chat. Ideal morning or afternoon out with the park, duck ponds and Sports Centre cafe!

It was easter and we had done everything we could with our tiny kids in the town centre. when we walked into the square and this little train came along: thank goodness, it was amazing and they loved every minute of it. The staff were great and the train went everywhere and we got to see way more of the... More

My husband suggested we visit here, I wasn't expecting much, we were greeted by a lovely lady who explained that the train wouldn't be long and it would be £1 each, and we could take a seat to wait. When the train came we climbed on, and off we went. It was lovely to be on the train with our... More

Friendly people sharing their hobby. Some lovely little trains to ride behind and some even smaller ones to watch (every other week). We visit regularly as it only costs a quid per person for a ride around the track. With the play park nearby this is a great way to spend a morning with our 5 yr old.

I used to work next to the place and I went just to know what was going on. What I found was a bunch or people (mostly retired) with a very nice hobby. There is a very small track around 150 meters where some of the trains can be seen, not very often. Kids can some times ride the miniatures... More

Would have liked to have gone around at least 3 times but enjoyed the 'short' trip as it was so entertaining by listening to and watching the little kids! Wished it could have gone a little faster!!!!

Small children will love this little railway tucked away in the Littledown sports centre grounds. Added bonus is large park, play equipment for all ages, ponds with ducks etc & free parking. Toilets & cafe in sports centre. Good picnic spot in summer & never seems busy.
