This was very small and would not take anymore than a couple of hours to see it all, the in closures for the otters and penguins was way to small and sad to see then kept like this.

Overall a little over priced for 10/15 min worth of walking around, penguins are good but apart from that it's standered

The main reason for writing this is to say how much more enjoyable than the London Aquarium. This Oceanarium was really great. Big fish, fantastic variety, buggy park, plenty of facilities. Only thing I would change is make it bigger. Very good

My 7 yr old loved this place. It is fun and educational and we hung around and saw penguins, tortoises and otters being fed. Staff were friendly too and small play area at the end of the tour.

My Mother and Son visited with me in Mid July. We were very impressed with all the exhibits. The Aquarium looks so small from the outside but it is incredible what they have achieved with the space. The main central tank was particularly impressive. There was a tunnel so you could walk through the tank, there was a viewing platform... More

We loved the Oceanarium itself. It has interesting things to see and for a fair price as you can go in and out all day and feeding times every hour. However when we went into the restaurant/café I went to order and was made to feel like I was in the way. The man who took my order at the... More

I thought this was a little overpriced for what it was but my daughter enjoyed it. Doesn't take long to walk around if you don't stop for the talks, etc. Needs to be expanded if I am to return.

Went here with my partner when we visited for a weekend. It's clean and tidy and a nice place to visit. They have a new penguin enclosure which I didn't really rate as the animals looked so sad in their little area. Other than that it was ok, it's something to do while you're in Bournemouth although I think once... More

Maybe not the biggest aquarium we have visited but found it very interesting and managed to take in the penguin feeding. Very clean and all the tanks etc had full description of the inhabitants. I would highly recommend this.
