I've never been abroad or even had a passport, But when visiting Bournemouth I get the feeling of being in a different country, visitors from abroad probably feel at home here , the Garden...or park, has got something about it, it takes you from the town to the beach , not just any beach.. Bournemouth beach (one of the best... More

Often stroll through the park and visit the aviary or sit and have lunch. Great bands in the summer months play in the bandstand and now they are opening BH2 right next to the gardens so entertainment and 13 restaurants within easy reach.

Lovely place, gets busy but worth it, really enjoyed my time here. Gardens are well kept and all ways something going on, best to bring own food and drink as it could be expensive. If get chance try and explore Upper Gardens too.

OK - crowded in good weather but superb flower beds and walks along the bourne from which the resort took its name. The adjoining Upper Gardens are quieter

Serene and peaceful stroll from the town to the sea. Pick a sunny day in any Autumn or Spring and it will be a very rewarding stroll

Well, this is the heart of Bournemouth. If you come to Bournemouth, any time of the year, you should go there. It's beautiful, has lots of things to do in it, and close to everything. Literally, the heart of Bournemouth.

For the most part the Gardens are a delightful place either to transit through between the town and the beach, or a few hours simply relaxing. Gets busy at peak times and would be good to see ball games restricted (especially at such times) but guess that proves I'm just a moaning old fogey who enjoys the wonderful flower displays... More

We wandered through the park at Bournemouth after a stroll along the pier. What a lovely place with the stream running through and the squirrels rushing about. Unfortunately we were too late the xmas market or the ice rink, but what a fantastic place to hold such events. Will get there in December next year
