It a park ? Very nice and things to do or just hang out or play golf with the seagulls as in the pick. Next to the town centre and the bus stops, a small water way runs though the park .

I have just returned from a few days at Bournemouth. I have been going there for 50 years, since I was a child, but I did not recognise it. The only thing that was the same was the sea and the beautifully clean golden sand. The town was disgusting...... Rubbish, empty beer bottles, plastic bottles, paper cups, paper, packaging from... The main route from Bournemouth centre to the pier and beach, it's difficult to avoid the Lower gardens. Beautifully maintained with snack outlets and crazy golf, the gardens themselves are attractive all year round. Entertainment is often provided in the Bandstand and a pause to watch the nature in the park is great

Staying at the Premier Inn across the street, we were surprised at the beautifully maintained city gardens. Clean, shady with lots of places to sit, a great place to read, have lunch or just people watch. Always lots of friendly people about, yet it never seemed crowded. We also enjoyed visiting the bird sanctuary on the edge of the garden.... More

The walk through the gardens were stunning with vibrant colours and a massive assortment of trees and plants. Very helpful as most of the trees had plaques on displaying the name.

The gardens were well kept and plenty of sits to sit on and look at the gardens. There are food and drink places in there .
