the cinéma is excellent, if you consider the workers and general upkeep of the foyer and the auditoria, etc.
however, the ambient temperature is ridiculously cold — in one screen, the temperature was set at approximately 17 — 18 Celsius.
In this kind of frigid space, my muscles spasm and tighten and i begin to experience **pain. Already conscious of just how cold the cinéma is i came prepared, wearing /five layers of clothing/, including two thick hoodies.
Still, i felt incredibly cold and uncomfortable. i had to leave the screen three times, just to get some relief from the chilliness of the auditorium. i have overheard many other people [— patrons] complaining about how cold the cinéma is while seated is — but nothing ever changes.
Is the Odeon attempting to minimise energy costs by keeping the cinéma so incredibly cold?

This was a decent Odeon. Not the best I’ve been to but not the worst either. Comfortable recliner seats.
Lots of bathrooms so not far to go whatever what screen you are in.
Friendly staff.
Only gripe was I ordered extra cheese with my nachos and this was inedible. Tasted watery and skin set on it within seconds which made it really unappealing. I get this a lot at cinemas and haven’t had that before.

We saw Tenet at 4.15 and there were 10 people in the cinema, so social distancing not a problem, you don’t have to wear your mask when you’re in there (although you can if you like of course). Soundtrack seemed deafeningly loud and not great quality to pick out the dialogue but generally a good experience. Bear in mind though most of the cinema is reserved for more expensive seating so if you pay the standard amount, you’re shoved half way up the back. Also one large popcorn between two was more than enough for two hungry viewers.

My wife and went to see Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy at the Odeon Bournemouth BH2 cinema complex. We are both OAP’s, so we asked for two senior citizen tickets. We then were told that they don’t do senior citizen tickets and the prices will be £15.99 each. These prices are daylight robbery.
Sorry Odeon but you have lost our custom for good. The only reason I can think why they are charging these extortionate prices is because there is no competition in Bournemouth now. This is due to Cineworld, Tower Park being temporarily closed as the Vue cinema is in the process of moving in to these premises.

Less than impressed.
Odeon no longer answer questions on the phone so had to go to the cinema.
Asked if we could use the Blue light tickets for the show that was about to start (in 35 mins), but had to do it via the app.
When we went to collect the tickets we were then told there was a £5 surcharge per ticket.

Just visited the cinema after long time to see the Avatar 2., which is unmissable because of the 3D experience and more than 3 hours so, we booked recliner seats for the comfort.
it was shocking to see the condition of the recliner seats! The cinema charging £20 for it plus booking fee, per person, are you having a laugh? These seats are awful, every single one is at least in this condition if not worse, disgusting and ridiculous. How can you keep them clean and guarantee to not having any suspicious spillage on them as they missed the top layer.
You encourage people to buy food and drink there and trying to keep the cinema tickets low. Considering there's a family of 4 going to see something in 3D plus book recliner seats, I'd feel robbed..can't get in below £100 even with the cheapest food/drink option ordered.
Definitely not going again in the near future.

Booked seats but then needed to change them to a later date. As I checked out as a guest there was no way of amending . Rang the number on the website and it just had a recorded message saying that all information was on the website. Instructions on the website were to download the app and amend the booking. BUT the booking doesn't appear if you download the App after you've booked. Tried the online chat - I was number 112 in the queue so gave up. Why can you just not get to speak to a human !! In the end I had to re-arrange another appointment rather than lose the £24 I had paid. This system is NOT catering for those who struggle with technology.
Also the ridiculous system of having to join a long queue to order a drink , then join another one to collect said drink !
All in all not an experience I would repeat with Odeon.

I am livid. I went to watch Five Nights at Freddy’s and was denied access to the film, because they said I am not of age even though I am. They requested a form of ID which I was not made aware of prior to entering the building. Absolutely fuming since before when I went to watch the Nun 2 I did not need a form of ID and they let me in with no further issues. I feel humiliated and dissatisfied with the costumer service, you’ve just lost a faithful customer.DO NOT COME HERE.

I can't beyond the rubbish website to find out the elative size of screens for the film I want to see! No chance to speak to anyone because there is a disembodied voice informing me that 'everything I would need to know is on the website'. Then the website is suddenly not available. Do they not want customers?

In row B there are a number of recliner seats which now look nothing like the photos. There are large holes where the fabric has worn away on the head rest and some on the seat. Given the price remains the same, customers shouldnt be expected to sit on such poor, tatty seats.

Where is best to sit in the isense screen 10?
Written November 11, 2017
I wouldn’t sit too close to the screen as the sound can be quite overwhelming. Personally, I would sit nearer the back in the middle, as you still get a great view of the screen from there. Maybe on row K or J? Hope this helps :)
