We travelled by car to this spot, parked easily & then well wrapped up as it was a very chilly day, we walked along the pathways. There were quite a lot of people doing exactly the same with their dogs. We enjoyed strolling along although the wind was bitter cold. We both found it very invigorating. After a while, we... More

We enjoyed the walk and views. The centre was informative. Didn't have time to see the whole place. Will park for longer next time.

This open space has everything bcause you take it with you! Food is the possible exception ad the Hikers cafe is excellent! If you want to walk, you walk. Plat football? Sure! Fly a kite? No prob! Ride a landtrain? It's there too! History? Yes! Biology? Ecology? Sea? Views? Grassland and pathways? All there! A really uplifting place.

If you visit Hengistbury Head you must walk to Mudeford Spit. Great walk along the edge of Christchurch Harbour ending up at the entrance to Christchurch Harbour by the beach Huts. Grab a coffee at the café before you head back. Lovely walk in any weather

Easy walk with a good path. Stunning views from the head. You could return by the land train or walk back a different way to make a different view
