Really old Hotel, much worse than expected, not worth the money at all. Can't even describe the bed... better to sleep in the table than in the bed!

Lovely, clean, spacious room. Enjoyed our stay. The only thing to improve is maybe updating the shower to a more powerful one.

To say I was disappointed with this hotel is an understatement. It wasn't particularly clean, the rooms were shabby, hotel understaffed & the facilities poor. I would not recommend this hotel.

The once glorious and outstanding hotel really needs a refurb and safety check. I went here Bal in the 90s and nothing has changed much... For the name Royal in the title... please make it back to its former glory! Disappointed.

No £20 for valet parking which is expensive. The public car park is right next to the hotel and costs £10 for 24hrs and an extra £2 for overnight (that sounds a bit odd but that was what it said on the signs in the car park).
