Unforgettable

Magical place. Visited a year ago and popped in yesterday - only to learn that it’s closed for now while the artist works on the space. Due to open again in Spring. Great news! Can’t wait to bring friends and family here.

Beautiful arty small museum - sadly currently closed for refurbishment until May 2020

This 'art museum' is laid out as differently themed rooms over several storeys. Lots of atmosphere, part history, lots of great artistic ideas. I absolutely love it. Amazingly it was all created by 1 person. I have visited several times to show friends & went again this week... but sadly it is current;y closed for refurbishment until about May 2020.

Marvellous Museum now sadly closed but rumoured to be moving elsewhere. Quite easy to spend hours here enjoying all the exhibits

Hi Ian, The good news is that we are not moving and are discussing reopening next year (subject to the usual constraints of money), work has already started on a new installation. We will post here and elsewhere with updates. Martin

Exceptional - very lucky to have taken it all in before it was too late.

I wish I had known about this place a long while ago, in time to have brought my friends and family. I don’t know the circumstances in which this collection was established, driven, expanded and continued but it is exceptional. I cannot do better than endorse the recent review of surfyboy1973 which is spot on.

The most amazing experience we have had in a long time.

After reading the reviews, we thought we'd visit the Time House (just in time before it closes for good!) Am so glad we did and spent 2 hours there. A trip down memory lane, including unbelievable films showing in the themed rooms which cannot but 'pull your heart strings.' Each room was wonderfully put together, and the whole experience touched every sense of our bodies. Mind blowing(Oh, and the 'smellorama' was a nice touch!) Something like this should be shown to every person in the developed world. Such a shame it is closing.

Real eye opener

I’m not a arty person at all but this was a real one off place, a great shame it is closing down.

All the different rooms to work your way through, you really forget where you are and are absorbed into it all.

Eclectic and thought-provoking

Hard to give this weird and wonderful place a theme but it's clearly a considered collection by a gently angry soul The record shop through which you enter is a joy in itself and you'll spend far longer than you expected (if you hurry - it closes this week)
You'll also leave questioning humanity, full of empathy and basking in memories. If the horrors of war are too much the mini oasis with complimentary mint tea halfway through is just the ticket.

It's hard to put into words what The Time house does to you, it's so beautiful and sad and moving at times that it's hard not to cry! It leaves you with a lot to think about and I really would recommend it to everybody! It is an experience that I will never forget, just wonderful!

We came across this online while on holiday in Torquay and I am so glad we did!

This place is truely something special, the amount there is to see, the smells, the history and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible!

It’s a place I will never forget and I am gutted it’s going to be closing so won’t be able to go back again.
