Pop into Torquay to visit a phone shop, and other shops. Staff in the shops are amazing, but the town it’s self feels tired and somewhat unloved. Lots of empty shops.

Something for everyone and sights not to be missed. The locals were very welcoming and the place had a calm atmosphere. We enjoyed exploring your town and will do again

A visit to Torquay high street was one that my husband and I would never wish to repeat, full of beggars and boarded up shops, one of the worst shopping areas we’ve ever been to. However the promenade and sea front were immaculate, such a...More

Does not look like UK at all. Very beautiful sea front town with promenade for the nice day out near the sea. Lots of cafes, live music, flowers and just relaxed atmosphere.

A tale of two towns really. The area around the harbour is still nice especially in summer, although it's shocking to see the state the Pavillion has been allowed to get into. But the further up the town centre you venture, the more run-down and...More

It's been a few years since we visited Torquay and I feel it hasn't changed a bit. From the minute you can see the big wheel as you are driving in it feels inviting. Car parking on both days we spent here cost £10 which...More

Visited the town 15 years ago, return visit was a let down . Depressing, miserable place , desperately in need of a makeover. Highlight had to be a gentleman asleep in the public toilets after having a clearly enthusiastic early morning beverage. Rubbish shops, exhausted...More
