Interesting 15th century church, just off the main street and churchyard opposite the Guildhall. Easily worth a few minutes of your time if you're passing. Suggested donation £2

We visited St Marys Church in Totnes when following a guided walk leaflet taking us around Totnes itself on a Sunday afternoon. We approached the church via the Guildhall Yard and from this point the church with its red sandstone exterior makes an impressive sight....More

This is a very pretty and cosy church .It has a great wood carved panel in the front and good children’s play area towards the side. Good concept to keep young kids occupied while adults can have a good look around.

Although there are historical items of interest in the church, this is really just an average church of the time period. Interesting, but not worth a special detail. I lived in the Totnes area in the 1987-88 school year.

Worth a visit if you are in town, definitely better than the Castle which is nearby. In the main street, centrally located. 2334
