Found it by chance. Impressive views. There are a few benches along the path; rather handy if you want to have a rest. Most enjoyable.

The SW Coast path walk around Meadfoot to is stunning, and is a little bit of the countryside almost in Torquay.

Although the whole coastal path is lovely the best part for me is from Daddy Hole Plain back in to Torquay. There are surprises along the route. The views are stunning and far reaching. The walk takes you through woods, an old building, up and down steps and there are plenty of benches on the way to rest, enjoy the views or have a picnic. Will definitely be doing this section again.

With stunning views, the 18 mile or so walked was a real treat. Challenging in places but well worth the effort - the phone gps to access maps is an item recommended as some tricky changes in direction.

We walked from the Quay to just short of Babbacombe. The path is way marked with an acorn symbol but parts of it require walking on the road. It is very undulating with many steps in places. However, the views along the way made it well worth the effort. We stopped at Meadfoot Beach for a coffee ,Hopes Nose to see the seals and Anstey's Cove prior to exiting the path behind the old Palace hotel to return by bus via the Babbacomb Road.
