Living Coasts starts off well. Clean entrance, nice beach huts as ticket booths and then a some great penquins. But apart from 4 seals and some puffins that's about it, and with a cost of £20 it's not worth it. They even ask for contributions...More

We brought the zooper online ticket for both living coast and Paignton zoo. Had we paid full price I would have been extremely disappointed. The staff were all lovely and very helpful during our visit. The facility itself seems very run down and in desperate...More

It was hammering down with rain when we went but once inside it was great. The penguins came right up to you but not allowed to touch. We went inside to look at the tanks but because it was raining so hard, the tanks were...More

Otters desperately searching for food and crying when they couldn't find any. Penguins over fed, masses of uneaten food at bottom of tank. Small enclosure for the sealions, I counted 5 and they only had one small rock to jump on, same for penguins although...More

Just down the road from our hotel the Imperial, this small scale attraction was well laid out with some brilliant interactive exhibits for children. The animals were clearly very well looked after and set ofcourse against the beautiful south devon coast. Lovely tea and cake...More

For the time of year, and in the weather conditions that we visited under, things were a bit lackluster here. We were under the impression that things were awe-inspiring, and if you're a conservationist at heart, then yes they are. But the seals only were...More

They provided a wheelchair (which we had pre-booked) which enabled a full visit and repeat circuits to catch scheduled events missed first time round. Huge thanks to Tom, the aquarist, for letting the g'kids feed the archer fish, and explaining why they no longer squirt...More

This is located next to Beacon Quay and is a partner to Newquay and Paignton Zoos. The attraction is part of several conservation and education programs and their ethos is accessibility for all which certainly made taking a wheel chair user round very easy. The...More

From what I can recall. Yes. It's a lovely visit and the staff I met were friendly helpful and knowledgable. I can't think of anywhere inaccessible to push chairs or wheelchairs
