A wonderful old pub.

We went here several times. Love the old fashioned style. Very friendly staff. Good evening entertainment. Love the Rattler cider!

I would give the Cider Press a higher rating but I was incredibly patronised by the bar man. For some reason he saw the need to continually explain that the Hunt's cider was 'very dry, flat and slightly warm' 'i can put some ice in'. Thanks, I'm nearly 30, born and raised in Devon, I have had plenty of dry... More

Sunday afternoon is a must if you like a good roast and some brilliant 'Cheese' music. Having discovered this pub last year we had to return. It's very small but welcoming. Love everything about it and we will be back!!

Popped in to try their cider and glad we did. Oldie world pub with plenty of atmosphere and even more choice of cider, as visitors made very welcome. I believe they have entertainment at night, sorry we missed it

Visited this pub on an evening when a Ska & punk band (Don't know their name, sorry) were playing live music. What a fantastic little pub. Located a few minutes stroll from the main harbor area, up the main street, in a slightly elevated position. This is a proper pub, not a manufactured trendy bar pub. It's not massive inside,... Look out for the knight in a suit of armour outside. We had not visited this pub before and were so pleased we did. The staff were really helpful with the code for the wifi as we wanted to take selfies. The football and rugby were on with one of the best atmospheres we have been in. The staff could... More

We came here in July 2015. We absolutely loved it in this bar. The live music was some of the best we have seen. Brilliant atmosphere. Would return to Torquay just for this.
