Stayed in Torquay to watch West Brom play in a couple of friendlies and good excuse for 5 days in Devon. The day of the match was awful very wet cold and windy in early August! Went into the Boots and Laces bar and the people were great,in fact everyone we met were lovely. When we're back in Devon we'll... More

Went to see a very entertaining game between Torquay United and Plymouth Argyle for a pre season friendly. Not the usual friendly that can lack competitiveness but played in a high tempo to result in a thoroughly entertaining game. Great view from the very impressive Bristow's Bench main stand. Looking forward to hopefully another great game on Monday the 1st... More

Situated not far from the Babbacombe area of Torquay Plainmoor is a modern ground enough ground having good amenities that help create a good atmosphere, good stewards and a decent spacious home bar Boots and Laces that allowed us in on our visit to watch Barrow AFC play.

We went their to see Tranmere won 1-0 at Torquay United. The catering should bring more food like pies but sadly it's not enough to eat like burgers and hot dog. Stewards were helpful as well

Booked the tickets to see Torquay for my boyfriend for Christmas, his first visit in 10 years As a non football person I was apprehensive of the day but to be honest I enjoyed myself Club house male dominated but that's what's to be expected First time in my life no queuing for the loos!! Club shop well stocked and... More

Shocking admission prices to just go and watch a very ordinary non- league football team. I believe it is probably cheaper to watch Bayern Munich than Torquay United !!!

Great friendly atmosphere. Clean and tidy well managed. Come along and cheer your team on. Every sizeable town needs a football team - support it or lose it.

This review is just for the ground itself, if we were reviewing the 'entertainment' on offer or the overall experience then it would not even deserve one star. The ground itself has been completely redeveloped since the early 1990's, starting with the Pop Side and completed by the new Main Stand (Bristow's Bench) in 2013. Surrounded by houses and schools,... More
