An amazing experience to be able to walk through an era that has been recreated in every way possible. Staff are really helpful. My kids loved looking at all the 'old days' food packets and loved the steam train display. Fantastic afternoon out and you can even grab a coffee in the cafe upstairs.

from the outside dosn't look much. but if your of an age for nostalgia this is for you. inside it opens up into a world of different times. there's even a steam engine in there plus world war one bunkers and lots of old world goods. give this a go.

Great place to visit as part of a day out in the area. It's so nostalgic to see some of the items we used to use/buy. A great bit of history and very interesting and magical!

It's a well thought and presented place. Good entertainment for both adults and children. All original pieces from the Victorian era. Enjoyed it very much.

An amazingly interesting place to visit where there are so many scenes and items from relatively recent history consisting of so many very well thought out displays. It was great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

we visited this attraction on holiday and happily spent three hours amazed by what we saw. The Victorian street showed many still recognizable brands - especially the sweet shop. The interactive amusements entertained my daughter - (have some change ready 5 old pennies for a pound) - and I personally found the story of how the collection grew fascinating. The... More

I really enjoyed this place. So much in terms of Victorian products and goods and the feel of the streets and shops was really interesting. Great to take kids to learn about the past.

This is the third time over two decades I have visited Bygones and for true history lovers, you could not find a more emotive experience. From the delights and ambience of Victorian England we see the trenches of WWI and an Anderson Shelter from WWII amongst other historical treasures. Miniature railways and fun fairs plus a genuine steam engine -... More
