The station is fine, it's a station nothing special I have one concern that I have come in late in the evening and found no taxis available.

Washrooms messy, litter on the outside, not very clean. Not sure why this is an attraction given so many other interesting stations in the s.w. Located central and about a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants along the harbour.

We used this Rail Station on our recent visit to Torquay. The outside and areas to the Station were littered with old tin cans and rubbish, not a great approach. We found the staff to be helpful and the Station quite clean. The toilets were clean and tidy but I did not see any access for disabled from one platform... More

Ticket office staff were helpful and friendly. Whilst waking on the platform a guard asked if I had reserved a seat, I hadn't. He advised me to move up the platform and get coach B and I would get a seat which I did. He was smart, easily identifiable in his uniform, informative, polite and friendly. The guard checking tickets... More

The station itself isn't too bad as far as railway stations go. We arrived at around 1700, and there were taxi's outside, plenty of signage and information, and there were staff available as the building was still open. However when I wanted to use the toilet, I was disappointed to find that there was no toilet tissue there. It's a... More

This is quite a grand station as befits a town with a history of genteel english folk arriving on the riviera for a summer holiday. It is NOT the one with steam trains (as some reviewers have said), this is the next station down the line at Paignton.

Travelled on Sunday at 10am and found that the toilets were closed !!!! Hardly early and the station was busy with many trains and lots of people about.
