A nice old school station unlike the ones I am normally used to traveling from. A nice lady on the ticket desk helping us save a few £££. Trains are alittle dated but we're clean.

A lovely quaint railway station. Enjoyed taking a trip by train from Torquay to Dawlish, at a very reasonable price. Would have liked a cup of tea at the Torquay Station Café on our return, but it was closed, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon!!!!!!

we would definately recommend going on the train it was very nostalgic going on the old steam train down to Dartmouth the kids were very excited as they had never seen a steam train its well worth a visit to the cafe at the station and also the trinkets that you can buy.

One of the old fashioned type stations with some great buildings. There is a cafe at the station although there are a number of units which are vacant. We normally tend to drive to Newton Abbot station and pick up the main line from there.

great little main line station caught the train to Dawlish Warren and walked back to Dawlish (a couple of miles of easy walking) with plenty of photo opportunities of the red rocks and beach and of course the trains. The journey was around 25 minutes £5.00 return without rail card. bargain day out. Dawlish is the home of the black... More

The station has been nicely restored to maintain its Victorian opulence - it is listed and in a conservation. 1930's style Great Western Buffet complete with slate topped counter and a nice place to sit with a sea view through the gardens
