The views from the terrace are quite stunning. It's hard to believe that a busy town surrounds the parkland on three sides. Walking is very much recommended. Choose a sunny day and spend a few hours here.

Take a step back in time, We walked from the Torbay road up to Cockington, and to the court, there is a restaurant, however we did not visit. We walked around the grounds, and the glass shop was delightful. A lovely attraction.

I agree signage is poor. I actually paid for a short term ticket so I could explore on foot where I could find a convenient disabled spot. Very narrow roads make life difficult.
