I would be lost without this mode of transport. It is my Cornish saviour. I shop, see friends, eat in fantastic restaurants, do business, go to the theatre and plenty more. The Cremyll Ferry is my best friend and should also be yours.

On a recent first trip to Plymouth we had a walk around the area to see what was about. We weren't intending on going on a boat trip but walked past as the ferry had just pulled in. At £1.50 each for one way across...More

I just love the Cremyll ferry crossing from Stonehouse in Plymouth across to Cremyll, Cornwall. It's a lovely little boat with a happy team running it, and saves a long drive round and the parking costs especially during the Summer months. You can choose to...More

Regular ferry service throughout the day, short 10 minute crossing generally punctual with great views of Royal William Yard and Mount Edgcumbe. Can be popular if there are events at Mount Edgcumbe snd you might have to queue.

This small ferry connects Plymouth with Cornwall and runs every half an hour. Really convenient and the staff are friendly.

Took the ferry over from the Dockyards and took the bus back to town. Walked to the Manor House and had a drink. Beautiful pub at the ferry dock. Took the bus back to Plymouth, which took us all around the island. Wonderful and relaxing.

Travelled on this lovely little boat, across the harbour, very cheap at only £1.50 per adult, goes on a regular basis back and forth all day.

If you fancy a short trip by water I recommend the ferry to Cornwall. There is always something interesting to see on the way but don’t get run down by a passing warship!

Small boat, have used this crossing several times, not expensive, but travelled from The Barbican. Great place to visit, pub lunches good. Can travel back by bus. Think our last ferry was 4.30pm.
