The park has been crying for a set of these for decades. Even though this is rolling parkland, you can't do without them.

Even many people who have lived in the Mutley Hyde Park Peverell areas for years often don't know it's here. But it is well used, friendly, reasonably equipped and in a very pleasant setting.

I like this park. Nothing flash but we'll set out in a quiet part of the city. People of all ages, picnics in the summer. Lots of ball games and general happy feel. Not sure whether there are lots of resident only parking restrictions or...More

It's hidden away on no route to anywhere. There seem to be no signs or efforts to draw attention to its existence. It is a practical mixed piece of invaluable parkland with a flat area for ball and other game, a well equipped play area...More

I have to confess to coming here in my childhood, then with my children and grandchildren so it has happy memories. There is nothing outstanding about it but it is a sort o an oasis in this busy city. Somewhere to sit and relax maybe...More

This little park is tucked away but is an excellent place to take the children. Usual park rides, include swings, slide, climbing frame, etc. and there is plenty of space to run around a kick a ball, or have a picnic. Benches are also provided...More

This is a perfect piece of inner city parkland. Well used and loved. The previous contributor Andrew R has very obviously confused Mutley Park with Moorview Park which is exactly as he describes and is a small fenced area opposite Moorview Terrace on the eastern...More

Surprisingly well kept play park with some benches and plenty of space to let your children or pet run about. Every dense neighbourhood should have something like this, so well done Plymouth Council.

I lived within a mile of this excellent multi-purpose friendly park for a decade before I discovered it was there. Almost no traffic on the adjacent one way road. Mostly used by close neighbour families. In particular children of all ages. Quite a lot of...More

Sometimes mistakenly thought to be part of adjacent Thorn Park, Mutley Park has a very different character all of his own. A good well maintained fenced play park. Plenty of open and undulating areas for kids of all ages to run and fool around. Dogs...More
