We recently completed walking the 630+ miles of the SWCP over a five year period, 4-5 days at a time, twice a year. The path is very well sign-posted, with lots of stopping places for lunch and overnight stays. The terrain and underfoot conditions are...More

Super whether you come by car or train. Satisfying and exhilarating. Do a little or schedule many holidays to complete it. Something for everyone who can walk a trail.

Keep fit and take the dog. Sometimes a little steep but just take your time. Different wild flowers every week!

About half way through now and all areas have been well signed. The best places so far have been Portcurno, Holywell Bay, East Dorset, Lyme Regis - actually far too many days

I walked the path the summer of 2017, and loved it. Most of the path was wonderful but other not that good.

There are a number of sections of the coast path that can be walked in sections between Plymouth and Hope Cove, all have there own mysteries and grandeur. One needs to experience them to get their own personal "KICK".

I only walked a small stretch of this excellent path and it provides excellent views but some challenging walking. Stretches can be steep and it is very hilly.

Thev SW coastal path is wonderful. Gets you off the beaten path and into beautiful countryside and views. Some parts are more challenging than others but the path offers something for everybody. Have done several hikes now and not one disappointment.
