What a great area, full of eateries and marina, sea views. We thought of Sir Francis Drake leaving this harbour to attack the Spanish Armada and Captain Cook on his voyage to discover Australia. Such a historic and important port. Loved wandering around.

Lovely fresh fish and excellent friendly service, nothing was too much trouble including going next door for curry sauce as my daughter really wanted it on her chips

Not a bad place to eat, drink and while away some time. Traffic + parking a big issue. Take a boat cruise. Try a Captain Jasper's fast food delight.

There is a lot of interesting history in Plymouth. Its a working port an has a long maritime history. The Barbican has many historical elements and sights and there many fine eating places and pubs.

The Barbican has a quaint step back in time feel about it, be it the number of antique and curiosity shops to the harbour area. A great place to spend a couple of hours when in Plymouth. Visit the Mayflower steps, or cross to the...More
