I walk my dog here every day and each time I visit I spot something new. Just take time to sit and reflect and read the names. Just a stunning spot and just a short walk from the city.

A rightly imposing structure. Take time to read some of the names and occupations and to think about what they suffered in our name.

Visited many times always interesting to see the names of the dead. Set out in theatres of campaign. The other two memorials are Portsmouth and Chatham

As a person who lives in Plymouth, this memorial situated on Plymouth Hoe overlooks the Hoe and sea. An appropriate place to commemorate those thousands of service people who died giving their lives for their country and whose names are scribed on its plaques.

I certainly made no comment about 'sitting around' and am well aware of its significance, thank you.
