Had the misfortune to use this service on Saturday. On the rear, lower deck a rotten inspection hatch cover gave way when people stepped on it, exposing a square hole about a foot across. Worse still this was all concealed under a mat (rolled back in the photo) making it invisible until someone stepped in it and fell over. The... More

Found it by chance, it take's you to the park and estate across the bay in Cornwall, well worth a trip the park and estate are very impressive and well worth spending an hour or two exploring.

We spent a lovely week in Plymouth based in Mount Batten and we were able to make great use of this little ferry . At £1.50 each way it was good value and meant we could leave the car at the apartment. You board and alight the ferry on a floating landing stage. I have Parkinson's and I'm also recovering... More

Have read the Jessica review, one must have some sympathy if that was the experience. We were the only ones on the ferry, both ways the day we went in January 2016. It was miserable and raining. We weren't helped on, but we were helped off. The short trip makes such a special event and we visited the Mount Batten... More

I am a regular user of the Mount Batten Ferry Service and would not normally leave reviews but after reading a couple of the comments posted on here thought I needed to post my views. I commute to work everyday via this service, it is extremely reliable even during the worst weather conditions. Colin and his crew are always friendly,... More

We were really looking forward to taking our 3 children on this ferry ride for a little adventure across the water. Unfortunately the service we recieved was awful and really dampened our experience. The skipper was so rude and unhelpful, he was tutting and making comments under his breath whilst we were boarding the boat and was pushy and rude.... More

This ferry takes you to Mount Batten, here you can enjoy great walks , be sure to venture to Jenny Cliff if you haven't already visited , there is a small cafe and one of the most fantastic views to be enjoyed of Plymouth Sound and beyond

This is a really nice wee ferry to take you across to Mount Batten which is worth checking out, staff on the ferry helpful and friendly and it is very cheap at only £1.50 each for each crossing

Thank Julie B
