Would not recommend walking in this park on your own, there are far to many strange people around during the day and evening. It's a shame because it is really a lovely well looked after park,I have spent many hours in this park watching my son's playing football. The locals are trying to do their best by holding function's once a... More

Was here as my Airbnb apartment was just across the road. Compact and easily traversed but if you're into longer walks this might need a few rounds which can be boring.

A great family park, brilliantly maintained and supported with pride by the local community. Superb gardens a with a rich variety of specimen trees and plants. Art exhibitions and music events together with a modern flourishing cafe scene enriches the cultural life of Devonport and Stoke

Often use this park to walk my two dogs, safe place to leave them off leads , plenty of open ground for them to run around, always seem to meet nice people who will stop to talk, nice little cafe for food and drink and clean toilets

This is a great space for the inner city and should be enjoyed by all. There's a lovely play area for children and fantastic views out over the city and the river. Bearing in mind the time of the year I visited I was astounded by the amount of dogs roaming freely in the park by inconsiderate owners, causing not... More

Lovely park, nice views, well maintained. Some interesting history if you walk around and some decent play equipment for the kids. Really good park for running too, people are really good about dog mess.

We walk here regularly, it's an amazingly restored Victorian Park, complete with bandstand. Find something new every time.

Devonport Park used to be a place to avoid, ongoing problems with problem drinkers and scores of nasty crimes over the years rendered it almost a no go area after dark .More recently thanks to stirling work by the Police, council and volunteers the park has been "claimed back" for the people. In Summer it's no longer deserted because of it's unsavoury... More
