Haven’t been to this market for a long time. We wanted to visit a number of places for different things. Every single stall holder and shop we spoke to were friendly and helpful even if they didn’t have what we needed. The sewing haberdashery stall...More

For a small market in a far from prosperous city, this has several interesting stalls. But, by a stallholder near the Cornwall St entrance, I was charged £3 for a battery for which the normal price is £1.99 for two. Plymouth is struggling and such...More

It was a little late in the afternoon, but shops elsewhere were still open, sadly not many stalls in the market were. Lots of people wandering round, but just literally a handful of traders open. So I left.... I can never understand business owners who...More

I last visited when it was under refurbishment but now it finished and resplendent in all its 1950s glory. A great variety of stalls and especially good for cheap ( yet great) eating establishments. All sorts of ethnic foods and a really hipster vibe. A...More

I wouldn't underplay the resilience and sincerity of the couple of traders who have held out regardless over decades in the small dispiriting glazed off compartment in the top right inside corner of the pannier market. But even during the early part of the day...More

I haven't been to the market for a long time and visited to get a watch battery done and to see the improvements. It was quite interesting to see so many little cafes, including the Noodle bar and a pizza bar, plus many cafes on...More

It is a nice market with a good mix of stalls. There are really good food stalls like the seafood stall and the noodle bar. There is a very vibrant variety of clothing. The butchers is great value( the one directly next to the market)...More

Nice bright indoor market, has a few empty stall but still has a good collection of items. It has good clean free toilets. It has an upstairs eating and drinking section. Overall very good ideal for shppping on a cold day.

Dire to sum it up in one word. Apathy, the stall holders just don't care. Over priced, much can be bought elsewhere for less in nicer, warmer and more friendly customer focused environment.
