This place is such a mixed bag. The shops are very good, but it's not a huge shopping centre, and I was more impressed with one at Southampton. Every shop seems decent buy you can guarantee they'll have about half of the stock they would online, so aside from escaping shipping costs it makes you wonder whether to bother or... More

Right off the bat Drake Circus is not massive however with the addition of the surrounding high street you can spend a lot of time shopping in Plymouth. The first thing that hit me about Drake Circus is how bright and airy it feels. The centre has nice high, glass ceilings allowing tons of natural light in. It feels very... More

Drakes circus shopping centre is quite simply a shopping mall with all the trimmings. It appears clean, tidy and pleasing to the eye, stocked with all well known shop names you'd expect to see in a giant shopping mall. The car park is attached for easy access to the mall [although it is not free]. It reminded me very much of The Birmingham Bullring... More

Whilst in Dartmouth, we thought we would check out Plymouth for some sightseeing, but ended up spending the entire day in this shopping mall. Tons of shops, including international brands, eateries and gift shops. The facility is well organized and kept clean. Ideal for all age groups. Definitely recommended!

Been here several times and never really warmed to. It. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it - all the usual candidates for shops - it's just a bit soulless. I just prefer the main shopping streets. My tip if you are a tourist is to go to Exeter instead.

Excitement was high when Drakes Circus was opened and it was a real breath of fresh air. However over time it's suffered from store closures (Zara anyone) and a poorly located Yo Sushi. The entire centre seems lacklustre and compared to Exeter's Princesshay Shopping Centre it's not a patch. I understand that the other end of town is getting a... More

A modern shopping centre in the heart of town with all the facilities you'd expect. All the major retailers are represented and those that are not are in nearby high street. Would recommend eating elsewhere though.

Right in the heart of the city shops. All the big stores are here - M+S, Next, Primark, Waterstones, etc etc. all are big stores stocking a full range. Lots of other small stores for you to browse around. Plenty of eating and drinking places. I liked the coffee shop in Next. Quiet, with plenty of room. And with the... More
