This is a refreshing change from the multiplex cinemas in larger towns. It only has 68 seats so you need to 'book'. You ring them to let them know you're coming, but pay on arrival. A very low key arrangement. They show new releases and have a range of refreshments at the entrance. Dogs are allowed too. Recommended.

We saw the BFG film at this cinema, the cinema is small if you're comparing it to the London cinemas. We got to choose where we wanted to sit and we had local Devon ice-cream to eat during the film. Tickets are very cheap, we bought four tickets and four ice-creams and it all came to £22.00. Which for a... More

We were staying nearby in a holiday cottage and we saw a poster for the cinema. My mother and I booked to go and see Absolutely Fabulous and I had a great time! It is so cosy and personal - you feel part of the community just by going to the cinema. It was one of the highlights of our... More

Good small cinema in an attractive building with up to date films - nice to have the facility in a small town like Lynton.

Quirky, retro cinema with a charm of its own. It shows a healthy mix of the latest releases and those that are not as recent. Another feature is the film sign board detailing the much dated ratings of:... More

Just like stepping back 30 years. A 68 seat screen, comfortable seats, plenty of leg room, curttains across the screen that open before the main feature and only £5 to get in. Forget the film which not so good, sit back and enjoy the experience

Very quirky place and staff. Quizzed twice to see if i had booked in by a lady with a clipboard then ushered into some seats. In the end there was only 12 off us. All very bizarre but recommended.
