We visit Lynmouth regularly and we always do this walk up to Watersmeet House. It's beautiful regardless of season and the café setting is beautiful. I highly recommend doing this whilst in Lynmouth, you won't be disappointed!

An exceptional walking trail. It had everything you could wish for: views, history, nature, intrigue and a cream tea half way round too! We followed the Julia Bradbury walk and found that this was perfect for us. An excellent walk and one which I’d certainly...More

This walk is sign posted out of Lynton. However I started up in Lynmouth and took the poet's route down passing the rail vernicular along the way. Once on the main walk it follows the river up the valley. It gets steep in places so...More

Starting in Lynmouth we walked along the river to watersmeed, had tea and scones with clotted cream (not the best scones, but brisk walk there builds up hunger). If you have stamina to walk steep hills, walk up to Countysbury (you get out by the...More
