Thank you. You are presumably referring to the Pavilion Dining Room upstairs which is different to the National Park Centre, but this is a common mistake, On your behalf I have advised the Dining Room staff of your kind response.

This is a big building with a cafe over the top as well. It didn't seem very busy and felt a bit tired. It's the end of the season so maybe that's why it felt about out of sorts. That said plenty of help and...More

Thank you for your response. We do have busier and quieter days, it is true, but are pleased you found plenty of help and advice, which is what we are primarily here for.

We originally went into the shop downstairs to shelter from a downpour. We ended up talking to a very nice member of staff and told her our plans for the week. She was able to recommend routes and things to do that would be suitable...More

Poorly laid-out, and more interested in selling tacky souvenirs rather than providing a quality experience, just like Lynmouth itself. Go to Lynton instead.

We managed to pick up a number of ticks when walking in shorts on the Foreland. Beware - these critters are a real hazard! Dropped into the Exmoor National Park centre in Lynmouth at 10 mins to closing time. The lovely gentleman on duty could...More

After walking the nearby Watersmeet Trail we stopped in here for ideas on further locations to visit in the area. Very friendly staff and lots of information. Only wish I could have charged my phone as the battery was low.

It was fascinating to learn about the area and its history, very sad to learn about the floods in 1952. A testament to the power of Mother nature at her worst.
