An asset to Exeter. I can’t wait to get back there to do films, opera and plays. Love it. Very comfortable seating, friendly staff. I don’t get on well with the online booking.

This is a great cinema with good wheelchair access though the disable parking spaces are tight - so if you are a wheelchair user or need to open your door wide to get in/out of the car you'd be better off parking on the double yellows outside with a blue badge. Once inside - there's level access into the cinemas, wheelchair spaces and an accessible toilet. You can also access the bar [effectively on the first floor] via the steep slope up to the carpark, and then avoid the stairs by going down the slope and into the front of the building. As I'm short statured I really like the sofa seating at the back of screen 1 as it means I don't have someone sitting right in front of me obscuring my view! The only down point is the price of the drinks - especially the wine - £8.70 for a glass of white win, yikes, it felt like a pound a sip! It was £5.40 for a pint of beer. The chocolate covered almonds @ £3.80 were a real treat though!

The Picturehouse is a little gem, and a much needed alternative to the odeon or the Vue. They have two screens and show a mixture of quality mainstream and arthouse movies, alongside more vintage stuff and live streaming from the National Theatre or Royal Opera House. The staff are lovely and the cafe is excellent.

Has 3 parking spaces but as they say on web site ‘at the entrance to a ramped car park’. Sunken door mat a entrance, staff happy & helpful, very clean and neat. Doors to screen are 1 & 1/2 door, good overall
