If you walk to the cinema from the city, don’t be alarmed as the look of the area feels progressively worse - the cinema is a gem! Lovely place to eat and drink upstairs and this is the only place I’ve been to where you...More

We live about an hour's drive from Exeter, and visit the city periodically, but we visited the Picturehouse specifically this week as it happened to be the only cinema screening "They Shall Not Grow Old" anywhere near us this week. We had never been to...More

This isn't a huge cinema but the seats are comfortable with high quality sound and screen. It appears recently renovated. A wider range of snack would be great.

The cinema is nice, overpriced but nice. The staff are so unfriendly tho. No hello or thanks or smiles. Much better service at Odeon or Vue.

Saw The Mercy with wine in hand. Not modern and not big ( 150 seats in each screening room?) but everyone v friendly and popcorn plentiful.

We turned up 2 hours before the movie started we had drinks and pizza before the movie. We took our drinks into the movie. What a relaxing idea. The seat spacing is superb being one of long legs.

I am a regular visitor to this cinema as it is super-comfy, has a good range of drinks, snacks and the sort of food which I quite fancy before a film. They are part of the meerkat movies deal and the midnight screenings are great...More
